Amplify Lanterns by Yves Béhar

With a focus on sustainability and affordability, Yves Béhar managed to combine the wonders of technology with the qualities of Swarovski crystal to create Amplify, a series of "paper lanterns" for this year's Crystal Palace in Milan.

The lanterns are shaped like crystals; inside an LED light is refracted form a real crystal whose patterns are cast upon the surface of the paper. The faceted shade is made from recycled materials. Six different crystalline shapes are featured and can be used as stand-alone pieces or grouped for dramatic effect.
