Among the new Tom Dixon offerings this year are the Void lamps whose finishes are meant to reference Olympic medals and are inspired by vacuum flasks.

Jacks

Jack is back. Originally created in 1994, this lighting/seating/stacking object is created through the air rotational-moulding process, a manufacturing technique more often linked to toys or traffic cones.

Offcut Bench is derived from waney edges and other bits of discarded wood that allow rubbish to become production material.

Successful Living from Diesel with Moroso

"A new light illuminates the Diesel universe: lamps in movement and old lanterns transform to the rhythm of rock, into objects of design.

From casual to vintage, from rock to pop and from adventure to emotion. This is a collection of completely new lamps that speak a multitude of languages, tell different stories and express the Diesel style in ironic, irreverent and creative ways. A new adventure with which you can customise your space, break free of cliché and bring your personality to light. This is the birth of a new collection of lamps that are as strong as metal, as soft as fabric, as slender as a luminous cage and as brilliant as chromed glass."

Furniture by Sebastian Brajkovic

"This extruding idea came from a Photoshop function where you can pick a row of pixels and extend them as long as you want," explains Brajkovic.

Great Student work

They are some student works I collected from www.thedieline.com
Are they proving that Young people are more creative?

Packaging Design collection

Time to tidy up my library!
When I looked at them, I do understand why people say " Good design is timeless!"
Some of them is from my collection in 2004, or even earlier.
